Dragon games update

Check out the School of Dragons Harvest Haunt Contest, which ends in less than two weeks, where you can participate in contests and get new items, like the skull mask from Trader Johann! There is also a School of Dragons membership sale going on as well.

Also, a video was released for a new dragons game, DreamWorks Dragons Adventure, which will let you play dragon games while driving, hatch new dragons, and let you take pictures of the HTTYD dragons. It looks like it could be fun, though sadly it is only available for one tablet.

Episode 206 - Fright of Passage

Synopsis: Hiccup must help Astrid face her fear of the terrifying Flightmare, a ghostly dragon that seemingly “froze” her uncle with fear, shaming her family name.  With Fishlegs’ help, they discover that there’s more to the Flightmare than meets the eye.

After the episode, we saw a clip from the next episode, Fright of Passage, which included a new character, Fearless Finn Hofferson. Well, it looks like this new addition of Astrid's family will be voiced by Brook Chalmers!

Speed Stinger - New Dragon!

Photos of a new dragon called the Speed Stinger have shown up on Cartoon Network's server. These images seem like they will soon be part of CN's Dragon Secrets page. The Speed Stinger is a fast, flightless dragon which is apparently too aggressive to train (although anything is possible for Hiccup).

Dragons 2 screening reveals more plot points

On October 3, Dean DeBlois spoke about and showed some footage from How to Train Your Dragon 2 to about 100 members of the National Association of Theater Owners, revealing a few new plot points.

Here are the highlights:

• Dragons 2 opens with a frenetic action scene
• At the beginning, Hiccup is pressured by Stoick to start a family and become chief
• Hiccup rebels by flying away from Berk and exploring new lands
• Hiccup meets the new characters during his exploration

Viewers of screenings for Dragons 2 described the film as dark, comparing it to The Empire Strikes Back as Dean DeBlois has done before. According to the article, Dean DeBlois is also already working on the script for How to Train Your Dragon 3.
