Berk's Grapevine

Cartoon Network's "Riders of Berk" Page!

We've all been waiting for there to be an official page for the TV show on Cartoon Network's site, and here it is!

The new page features some new--though short--character profiles for the human and dragon characters, one of the new games that we predicted: "Dragon Training Legends," and all the videos.

Definitely check it out!

Thanks to anonymous submission!

UPDATE: Here's the official Facebook page.

Click "read more" for some promotional pics from the site for those of you who can't access it.

  1. Really? Tuff and Ruff named their zippleback BelchBarf? ...I guess they are vikings, after all. But anyway, YAY! Exciting!! :DD

  2. Well, each zippleback head has a name. One is named Barf and one is named Belch according to the comic con panel. What's on the CN site is probably just a slight mix-up since technically it's one dragon.

  3. I think Belchbarf is the actual name, although I don't like their spelling of it. It looks much better when the B in Barf is lowercase. I don't know why characters in cartoons have to be spelled in camelcase (e.g., SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents). It looks ugly.

  4. Yeah, it is a strange way of spelling it. Now I'm more excited for the TV series though!

  5. Could you take some screencaps? I keep getting redirected to cartoonnetwork.ca, which doesn't have that page. I guess I'm not allowed to see it. :(

  6. Done! That's too bad that you keep getting redirected, but I took screencaps of the most important stuff on the site.

  7. That's really odd, since I know Serimon and Skrill, who are both out of the U.S., seem to be able to get in just fine.

    Just a Canadian issue? That's baffling. O.o;

  8. I also get redirected to cartoonnetwork.ca and I don't live in Canada. (Although I do have an unusual ISP, so it's possible CN thinks I live in Canada.)

  9. You can use a US proxy to see it. But I can access the page without a proxy (and I live in Russia). I need a US proxy only to watch videos.

  10. This is so amazing! :D I love Hiccup's new role in the village. I can't wait to see them all interact! I hope we can find a way to see the series, since we don't have Cartoon Network.

  11. Thanks for posting up pictures guys! I appreciate it! :) The reason it's just a Canadian issue is because Cartton Network recently came to Canada if you have telus or Cogego networks. I don't :( Anyway, they released a Canadian site that has was less stuff on it and redirect anyone with a Canadian IP adress to the .ca site. It's stupid.

  16. OMG I can't wait for the release date, well I hope found something that help me to watch it on CN USA (online signal) because I'm from Chile and CN LA (Latin America) doesn't show this amazing series, but the big problem is that when I enter in the CN webpage and I click on "online signal" (I don't remember the real name)the video begins to charge and then throws me a message, that the only think I can say is "FFFUUUUUUUUU" why? because CN said that the videos are only available for US.

Could somebody help me with this please? :(

  17. Anonymous: I think all the videos on that site have been uploaded to YouTube. If you want to play the game, you may need to use a US proxy. (I'm not sure, though.) Here's the direct link to the game's swf file if you want to try:

  19. Hello everybody, well, yesterday I tried to play the game and I did it without problems and without the use of a proxy (by the way is a very fun game jejeje), well, I was reading the CN USA webpage and they said that the games are available from all the world, but the videos and the Online signal are only available for USA, but I found a solution for that, well if you could allow me, I could explain to you the method without problems.

    Regards for everybody!!
