(Spoiler alert!) This is an almost entirely new clip (and possibly the last clip we will get before the movie comes out) of Valka meeting Toothless. Turns out, his new nubs do correspond with his age, somehow! And of course, Hiccup has to explain something uncomfortable about his relationship with Toothless.

ReplyDeleteIt was because, when Toothless wrapped his wings around Hiccup, his wings couldn't cover all of him (strangely, since he was so small), & since his left leg (which kinda protected his right leg) was exposed to the fire, it got burned so badly, they couldn't save it, & it had to go.

It seems as if there was a little cut out. The back ground behind Hiccup went from the dragon to the green vegetation. I didn't see him walk or anything or the dragon move. Just a note. I'm get to see the movie on the 12th and then the 13th again. I'm gonna count how many times my theater is going to show it. But I don't think it's anything to worry about. It's just a bunch of words. You can't convey the magic, power, love, music, or transitions through words. You can only see it through the movie. So, it's okay with me. Also, it helps prepare you. I honestly don't want to come out of a 'kids' (HAHAHAHA) movie bawling. So chill guys. :)

I think it's because that is how they could carry their offspring without harming them, or a so they could play and not accidently hurt one of their own...Kind of like how Hiccup put his hands on his gum line in this clip and he retracted them...maybe it's also because when they fire while doing their famous move, they can retract their teeth so the blast can't effect them?

ReplyDeletemy mom was the opposite. She liked that Hiccup lost his leg (well she did but didn't ) because it showed that things don't always work out perfectly for the hero of the story. Most movies never show something bad happening to the hero yet this did.
