Dragon 2 Wins Best Animated Feature!
Posted on Monday, January 12, 2015 by IcelandicEel
Congratulations (or, more appropriately, condragulations) to the cast and crew of How to Train Your Dragon 2 for winning Best Animated Feature Film at the Golden Globes last night!
This is a film that absolutely deserved to win, even in a year when it was put up against so many other amazing animated films! Hopefully, if we're lucky, we may see our favorite film go on to win even more awards in the future!
Below is an interview with Dean DeBlois and Bonnie Arnold about the film:

Congrats, DreamWorks! :D HTTYD2 definitely deserved to win.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I must admit, I didn't think it would. I figured either the Lego Movie or Big Hero 6 would take the award, with them being as popular as they are.
YES YES YES YES!!!!! 😆 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DRAGONS!!!!! I KNEW YOU'D WIN, THEY WON!!! PARTY AT MY HOUSE, ALL DRAGONS AND RIDERS ARE INVENTED!!! CONGRATS!!!!!
ReplyDelete:) Yay Dragons!!! Good job you guys!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Dragons! :D
ReplyDeleteDon't you mean 'invited'? XD
ReplyDelete"Condragulations!!!" :DDD
ReplyDeleteEven though Big Hero 6 and the Lego movie were more popular, I believe that DreamWorks did something special with httyd2. It took bigger risks that aren't normally seen in animated films and I'm glad to see it paid off :)
ReplyDeleteFinally the franchise has some major recognition. It is about time people realize that dragons are here to stay. Go dragons :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the entire team that worked on HTTYD 2!!!
ReplyDeleteThey made some daring choices with this movie that I haven't seen in decades in an animated movie or serie! They definitely deserve this prize for such an amazing and beautiful movie.
I like the fact they are leaving the possibility of further movies open!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dreamworks!
Congratulations Dreamworks.
ReplyDeleteYou deserved this award more, I believe :D
Globe: CHECK!!!!
ReplyDeleteOscar:...lets see! But be honest it will take this one too
I am fan of Httyd but to my opinion it didn't deserve the victory. You wait before filling me with insults, you feel because I say this: for the whole summer I have waited for to go to cinema to see it ( I live in Italy, the film arrived late) I was very happy and I expected me for so much from this film. Gone out of the cinema I didn't understand the motive but I had been disappointed... with the time I have had the opportunity to reflect and to assimilate for well and in fact I have understood because the film has disappointed me. To my opinion the first 20 minutes were fantastic, it seemed indeed to promise then well from the point in which Valka appears, the film has started to sink up to the end. We list some point: first, perhaps the most important motive and the most annoying: Valka, her child has abandoned for 20 years and she is only justified saying: I thought that would have been safe for you! The thing doesn't work for me, once that have understood that the dragons can be trained would be been able to return to Berk in whatever moment, you are the wife of the chief and everybody would have listened to you! It's the same thing if today a mother decides to abandon her child to follow the career, don't you think? Point two, Hic and the role of the chief. In few words he becomes chief because Stoik dies and automatically the whole weight of the duty falls on his shoulders. It doesn't suffer a personal growth, for the whole film Hic escapes from his responsibilities and when his father dies bum, here is the replacement. It is not a very encouraging perspective. Sad to admit him but the only character that he has suffered a growth it is Eret, he has understood that the dragons are good. Third, but not less main point, the final battle. You make a comparison with the before: against green death Hic has had to play of astuteness and he has succeeded in winning, also putting his leg. In this there is not a plan, Toothless it discovers to have the super powers (probably of the solar panels) and simply bombard the monster, skipping about as a kangaroo on pieces of ice. Doesn't it seem you ridiculous? The giant dragon that could crush with his leg and doesn't even react him,the dragon is immovable to make to be bombed... This final battle really sucks. And then the whole army of Dragon? What end has they done?! Sincerely, the things that i liked are the gags of the secondary characters because the whole rest is not standing, everything is too forced. foe example the fact that Hic meets later his mother and the day later his dad die ,come on,let'g get real here?.? In conclusion I say that this film could be very more if they devoted more time to the layout of the plot, it makes me become rabid because the animation is impeccable as the effects and the quality. is each free to express his personal opinion, don't you think?? Ok, if you now want to also fill me with insults sorry, I cannot even use them as toilet paper ^-^
ReplyDeleteCONDRAGULATIONS!! Man, it makes me so proud to see 'our' movie being recognized as something truly special. If any movie deserved this award, in was definitely HTTYD 2. GO DRAGONS! :D
ReplyDeleteYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!! WE WON WE WON!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!:D:D And also a big well done to those of you who didn't win- I'm sure you did an amazing job!;) From the bottom of my heart DreamWorks and HTTYD2 we all know the movie was something very special and we're SO SO proud you've won;D You totally deserved it!;)
ReplyDeleteYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! WORDS CANT DESCRIBE HOW HAPPY I AM!!!! :D WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping httyd2 would win.
They definitely deserved this.
A lot of it is because they pushed the boundaries with this movie.
Party at berk. :)
Congratulations

ReplyDeleteHUZZAHHHH this is awesome news. They were quite bold with HTTYD2, and had some quite mature themes to deal with. I hope they snag more awards!
ReplyDeleteI'm just really happy for Dean and Bonny (as well as the other artists who worked on this film). It was such a lovely piece of work, the movie really moved me, and I am happy to see them being given credit for it.
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteDragons rule!! Congrats on the winning!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm so happy and proud to be in this great fandom.
ReplyDeleteNow For That Oscar
ReplyDeleteDreamWorks made a live-action series reinterpretation of Dragons set in modern society. This is a screenshot of Hiccup going on a date with Astrid.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's been nearly a year since I've been here, but I'm back and it's still awesome here. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Dragons 2 won Best Animated Film Golden Globe Award 2015! Wooohooo!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone think that Drago's dragon-hide cloak looks like..dare I say it...Night Fury hide...?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else think that Drago's dragon-skin cloak looks like...dare I say it...Night Fury hide...?
ReplyDeleteI don't see any video there about Astrid's Axe :(
ReplyDeleteMind explaining a lil' bit? :)
Oh wow.....it does....
ReplyDeleteActually, it kind of does...
ReplyDeleteWell, now HTTYD2 has been nominated for Best Animated Feature film for the oscars. The Lego Movie did not make the list but HTTYD2 is still going against Song of the Sea, the Boxtrolls, the Princess Kaguya film, and BH6. Best of luck.
ReplyDeleteI will support HTTYD 2 (^_^)/
ReplyDeleteThe Lego Movie didn't make it to the list? I'm not surprised though but it's still a good movie, btw.
Are you guys excited for the next season?
ReplyDeleteYessss! When does it start?
ReplyDeleteUnless it is an much older Night Fury (with much bumpier skin) I doubt it. It would be tragically dramatic, but I think it is actually the skins of multiple different species. Plus, I think it is a dark-grey/blue, not black. If you look at Toothless, no patch of his skin resembles the texture of Drago's cape, and the dark coloring could be due to age and wear. I mean, it could be the hide of a Night Fury, but I wouldn't say that it necessarily looks more like Night Fury than any other species.
ReplyDeleteLego wasn't nominated? Are the Oscars finally learning to fear product-marketing movies at the most prestigiously, temperamental bad time? ...Besides for those that saw T4? Or, it's because the film was released in the accursed slot where the nominal year has ended yet the ceremony has yet to happen, a.k.a. around the sleeper-monther movie season.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Song of the Sea or Princess Kaguya. If any of them came from Studio Ghibli, I oathed myself not to watch any movie from them until I watch their first movie, Kiki's Delivery Service. Why is it such a pain to get a Myazaki movie? More precisely the non-Disney dub where the songs were 60s-era and the cat Jiji had a different tone of voice? I'm also up for Spirited Away and Arriety later on.
Good luck, Dragons! (Fishlegs' howl)
The texture may be from a Deadly Nadder. But the color was dark in the flashback, too. So this is a tough call. Especially since Eret mentioned how there's no Night Furies in his dragon army.
ReplyDeleteI lovveee spirited away, i watched it all the time when i was younger!
ReplyDeleteThere are only a few darkish-color dragons and I think we can rule out the Skrill for this one. Then Night Fury, and...I think that's it. You're right, it is a tough call! XD
ReplyDeleteNext stop is the Oscars! Hiccup and Toothless have stepped up their game with more emotional power, more action and more emotional and physical obstacles than ever before. Let's hope they bring the curtain down big with the 3rd movie!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Big Hero 6 the most but Boxtrolls and HTTYD 2 were enjoyable too.
ReplyDeleteWell let's hope the wait for more Night Furies ends when the 3rd movie arrives in 2017.
ReplyDeleteOh heck ya! I'm way too excited. I saw a picture of Hiccup in the new season riding Toothless with his shield. =3
ReplyDeleteWhere was that ??
ReplyDeleteI wanted Big Hero 6 to win but I don't mind celebrating
ReplyDeleteLol and I can not attend as I am situated in Australia. Sorry. GO DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that the texture is more bumpy. Like a Gronkle almost
ReplyDeleteI think it starts in September Awwww. :/
ReplyDeleteNow I feel bad. I contributed to the ticket count. Watched BH6 and Lego movie with sis (Chloe the victorious) and dad.
ReplyDeleteUr kind of a not to offend u, a traitor to the dragon world and Dreamworks. When HTTYD came out i promised not to watch lots of Disney movies And never to love them more than dragons 1 and 2
ReplyDeleteNo! I deny it! I would like it to be like fast and furious.i think they went up to 6?
ReplyDeleteNo way! When Dreamworks says it's officially 3
ReplyDeleteHow dare you accuse me of such treachery!
ReplyDeleteAren't Gronkle bumps larger?
ReplyDeleteWell, Hiccup's bildungsroman ends with the third, and he's already 20.
ReplyDeleteWish I could see it....
ReplyDeleteTime to waste a wish. Blog Alpha, I wish I can speak to the inner workings of the dot-com to find a workaround to view the next 2 seasons as the episodes unfold and not months later.
Awwwwww
ReplyDeleteNot shure just a guess
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! I really am!
ReplyDeleteI know but there's still a chance? Right? Wouldn't u like there to be more?
ReplyDeleteAny way I'm just some 13 year old who's who got an A for english in writing and who's paranoid with HTTYD and caught its fever!
ReplyDeleteValka story for the win! She needs one because well, how does one believe in a plausible peace before Hiccup met Toothless? Sure, Vikings were known to ransack hot Aryans from every land they roamed, but this isn't the case. She seems less likely to have come from some other land where locals are fine with dragons, and the opening narration in the first film makes it clear that any such place would be considered an insanity if not a stubborn population.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought Fast and Furious was in the works of an 8th movie.
ReplyDeleteNot spring?
ReplyDeleteD'oh!
Ohh we'll. some thing I've been wondering, I think ur the right person to ask this, in the battle of the bewilder beasts couldn't they just mind control each other? Or try to at least
ReplyDeleteIt was just a thought. I don't actually know if they just kept happening or the franchise was planned to have more than one movie
ReplyDeleteTo true but I'm not shure how old u are but I'm just thirteen not twenty or something so some of the things u message don't enterally make sence
ReplyDeleteOh you seem young for a Disqus member.
ReplyDeleteI'll request more when I say I want more
ReplyDeleteSay it like you mean it!
ReplyDeleteSis just checked 2 seasons and in spring for u on netfix and autom for us
ReplyDeleteSo... it's on Netflix in the spring and where in the fall?
ReplyDeleteOr are you counting by seasons?
Last time I checked 13 was the legal age limit for website users
ReplyDeleteOh I barely noticed
ReplyDeleteI'm 17, a month and a week. And maybe 4 leap days.
ReplyDeleteBildungsroman is the full word for "coming-of-age story".
Vikings were known to attack distant lands to capture beautiful brides, but I'm just saying it feels a bit unlikely that a woman LOCAL to Berk would risk the chance that dragons might have a gentler side.
Oh, and 13-14 is the bomb! You got to remember not to grow up too fast. I'm a senior now, and I can tell you that I've still found people who enjoy things that, as elementary-school students, they were convinced they'd grow out of. After all, why else is there a bunch of visitors to this very blog heading off to college? I'm still getting out of the awkward phase that "being my age" put on me when I was 14, but I'm quite calm about it. Don't worry too much if you're confused on how to be 13 or 14. It's something I guess everyone goes through at some point in their teens. I still wanted to call myself a kid at that time and I didn't have driver's ed yet so, Why not. There's no real middle ground for 13-14 anyway.
I heard Tokyo Drift was after the seventh movie, which in itself confuses things.
ReplyDeleteOnly one of them has the Alpha power at a time. The Alpha's kind of like their avatar. Only one can exist at a time. And it should be known that when Toothless full-on challenged the Alpha, the Alpha had no control of him despite Drago's attempts to make the Night Fury alone its major target.
ReplyDeleteThx for the advice
ReplyDeleteNo problem.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I've had when I turned 17 was what they call "The Catcher in the Rye". Depending on your future high school, you may find out what that means in due time. But part of the reason may also be because I've always been a little protective of my younger siblings. (Spoiler: the main character in "Catcher in the Rye" has a little sister.)
I'll break it down to u in American. There is one season being realised in FALL and the second in the near future on netfix. Wonder when ABC3 (our Cartoon Network) will have it showing. There still showing defenders of Berk on the weekends
ReplyDeleteNear Future can mean anything, really.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I miss ABC Saturdays! Recess and Weekenders were on that channel until the Disney channel took them back on exclusive and slid them to the oblivion schedule zone with Timon and Pumbaa (2008: I had to wait till 2:00 in the morning to watch them?!!) The current ABC Family has been...shakey.
You get reruns to a good show? I know my country has complain about lack of variety ever since home video became a thing, but why can't they rerun shows like this? There's plenty of episodes that work without an orderly narrative present, so why not show them on TV again? I'm noticing that they seem to dislike the idea of showing Dragons on the air during the season except when an episode's premiering. And it doesn't help that they only give us a second watch at the worst time possible (aside from past midnight).
Ok so like how.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Manuel Orozco for breaking your heart and your Viking spirit. How can I make it up to u even if we're probably in different countries on different continents?
But if your a Viking, don't u have a charming Viking demina?
Never herd of it
ReplyDeleteI'm from America! Also I have been following the franchise for the last five years not just on the big screen but TV and the shorts as well.
ReplyDeleteOhh so now ur what? The king of dreamworks and tells them when to release what and when to make what?
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Fast and Furious. I'm just going after the Honest Trailer for... Vin Deisel Muscle Cars vs. Rio de Janeiro (which Fast and Furious was it, Fast 5?).
ReplyDeleteNo I'm just a fan
ReplyDeleteReally
ReplyDeletefans should making requests
ReplyDeleteto build the Astrid's Axe
Upvote for the three=part commentation! Actually kind of epic, I'll upvote all 3 comments in there.
ReplyDeleteThe second's from "httyd fan". Just loved the responses inside that...showdown.
ReplyDeleteWho's winning
ReplyDeleteYou did. It was,
ReplyDelete"I request more when I get more!"
"What? Do you got control of the corporation?"
"No. I'm just doing whatever I need to be a fistworthy fan....P.S. I'm not their (DreamWorks corporation's) spy, if you in any way think I am."
I'm really not a spy
ReplyDeleteCan you post that pic?
ReplyDeleteYeah BH6 was good but i'm sooo happy HTTYD2 won, did you know Dan and Phil were in BH6!?
ReplyDeleteYeh! There rerunning a couple of shows slugterra, Stoked, deadly 60 and Detentionaire are a couple of the good ones inc Dreamworks Dragons seasons 1 and 2 and on abc at midnight I think there showing skippy the bush kangaroo and a couple of others
ReplyDeleteNOTE that it was banned in a couple of countries
what am I supposed to be? A guest?
ReplyDeleteYes please!
ReplyDeleteNo apparently
ReplyDeleteI've heard of a Skippy the Kangaroo, but as a peanut butter mascot. Detentionaire sounds vaguely familiar, perhaps having a short-lived show on the air five years prior. Other than that, I've never heard of the other ones.
ReplyDeleteI'm just throwing a side point out, "What Ever Happened to Robot Jones?"
That's why it's awesome. I can't pinpoint then, who's in control.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you trust me. But now what we still need to know is what if the events in the Dragons universe this past year were just the calm before the Storm of things to come.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it's more of an "I'll be back!" type.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of back, the odor of latex gloves has escaped my suppression, which I tend to sense whenever I have day-nightmares of..." I.G."
No, no. It...he...don't...Augh-huh, AAAAAUUUGGHH! Get it off my brain, this terrible movie about some cyborg (which I always find a creepy addition to any living anatomy anyway) played by that guy from 1998 Godzilla! Why does this keep happening to me? Those trailers were supposed to be forgettable, but they just never go away. (imitates Tom Hanks whine)
Don't get me wrong. Iron Man was good, but let me rephrase cyborg: "open-heart surgery on an internally pierced metal; or the billion-dollar amputee-man". I don't trust either as a 4-year-old. Yet with Hiccup and Toothless, I never actually had this problem. I'm more used to it now. Except in "I.G."
Important thing is we can only hope all the chaos will lead to bigger times ahead with our favorite duo bringing the curtain down in 2017. Big thing is we cannot afford them to separated by journey's end. But for now, victory is ours.
ReplyDeleteCue the love theme from "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" and go Aud Lang Sang for the ending!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your point
ReplyDeleteReally? Where?
ReplyDeleteI'm just setting the mood for the after-party for when the franchise is over. Seriously, the theme is very emotional, and the ending to Spirit has very much the same vibe as the proposed ending to the next HTTYD film. Just seemed fitting.
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar with the song it's been in its a wonderful life
ReplyDelete\o/ yay
ReplyDeleteNote to self : do not say "oh gods..." in front of kids or students a
ReplyDeleteHaha their youtubers.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of them
ReplyDeleteAlso where do I find the music?
ReplyDeleteThere is also a track in S:SOTC called "Swimming".
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZwL9OLORJU
Just wondering plus Spirit is not one of my Dreamworks movies but its on par with the HTTYD movies.
ReplyDeleteI listened to it and sang Auld Lang Syne as it was ending but I don't get how the feeling of the song is supposed to connect with the proposed ending
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think?
ReplyDeleteOh, their quite popular for people my age..... they're better know as danisnotonfire and amazingphil, they have like i think 3ish million subscribers...
ReplyDeleteOh
ReplyDeleteImpressive placement. And Mildew has a very long chin! (creepy "AAH!")
ReplyDeleteAuld Lang Syne is a Scottish-origin song sung at the end of a year, so I figured it worked as a closure to a series with Scottish voices.
ReplyDeleteAs for the theme in the video, I chose this song because it occurs in a scene from spirit that seems very similar to how the Vikings might part with dragons. It's a very bittersweet ending, but with regaining hope, and it's one of my favorites. Sorry I used the current ending, but if they go for the mood of this ending mixed in with all the aftermath of the Red Rage, I think it's a strong ending. I kind of want to see DreamWorks bring back their more dramatic roots, but I don't want it to end like the film Pay It Forward where the kid was just killed for no good reason other than to finish the movie in the quickest, pretentious way possible. But luckily, I just don't see HTTYD going into a bad ending that way.
Well aware of it.
ReplyDeleteDid you sign it?
ReplyDeleteHey everyone, just a quick message. The game School of Dragons is in serious trouble, it is not because they are low on money or anything but because that it is being overrun by hackers. In such a degree that the game will shut down if nothing is done. The developers are working tirelessly, but are completely clueless about how bad the situation is. This is not the hacking infinite resources or unreleased dragons into ones account, this is real hacking of player accounts. I will not go into detail, please check the forums.
ReplyDeleteWe must not let this happen, WE ARE VIKINGS!!!
Then learn network programming and security and let's see how well you prevent hacking.
ReplyDeleteNo. I couldn't. It may be the only connection to Cowell's books. The very inception of the HTTYD universe was "What if dragons did exist and how would Vikings live with them, and where may those dragons be after millennia lost?" To see the beginning of a moment like that is kind of special to me. Expanding on Spirit, I always wondered if the mustang would ever see Little Creek the Lakota brave again. It was very stirring. Now try putting that in conjunction with an unconfirmable extinction or "undergrounding" of a "what-if" being (any mythological creature). The closest other movie moment I've seen to that is when Elliot said goodbye to E.T. and the Lakota released Spirit. It becomes an experience you don't want to leave. At least for me. But the movie has to earn that intrigue.
ReplyDeleteI think ET is better but what do you mean intrigue?
ReplyDeleteI mean, when the movie ends, will the audience still be thinking of the characters, what may happen, what did they mean by that ending line, etc. There's a mystery to it, but there's enough spilled for us to involve ourselves in the experience even after the movie's over. There's a world now in the HTTYD universe, but what will happen to it and how will the characters bear with the change. 'Cause once dragons were invited, life was never the same. But we need just enough after they disappear to feel that their life is continuing with that weight in tow. It also allows us to question what the characters were set up to do and question whether or not they had or might succeed. The aftermath of their aftermath may never be known, left to cough dust with ambiguity across a desert of possibilities and uncertainties.
ReplyDeleteWell no matter what happens I WILL see HTTYD3 as a fanatic obligation.
ReplyDeleteI hope to, and also to finally see a HTTYD movie in 3D.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the first one in 3D but second one in 2D
ReplyDeleteI paid for a 3D ticket to the second movie but got stuck watching the 2D show. But that's the only time I could get there and there was only one "booth" for both versions. The website even said it would be 3D, and I was only able to get a 3D ticket by saving money for the extra fee. What I'd do to see a 3-D release, but unless you happen to attend the world pre-opening of the next film (as a triple-feature), there's is no seeing it in theaters again. DreamWorks has yet to rerelease anything, that's why, and IMAX theaters are pricey and relatively rare/distant.
ReplyDeleteHiccup and Toothless are 2nd in the DW's Official list of BFFs. Shrek and Donkey were first, but that's expected. :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.cartoonbrew.com/business/breaking-dreamworks-animation-will-shut-down-pdidreamworks-studio-over-500-jobs-will-be-eliminated-108161.html
ReplyDeleteI don't plan to. Also the 3rd movie has been pushed back to 2018.
ReplyDeleteYet another year? So I'll be in my 3rd year of college.
ReplyDelete...two projects put in development hell
ReplyDelete...releasing more than two films a year proved too ambitious
...chances to relocate to one division instead of holding 2 divisions
...relocation taxes
Because of the crisis at Dreamworks
ReplyDeleteLike Captain Hook ;D
ReplyDeleteAll upvote if you still play SoD (just curious).
ReplyDeleteYes, however in the main forum posts under General Announcements the admins and mods have expressed their arrogance to the situation... I will believe nothing more of them until they give us visual and legit PROOF that the majority of our problems comes from bugs and "open codes" rather than hackers who barely need much experience to hack into the game at all. I'm glad the major clan leaders and players are standing up for themselves and even going as far as contacting the media. I still can't believe it took over half a year to get the majority of the hackers main accounts banned. The fact that they wait to take a simple action like that for so long is absurd. This shows just how much they care about the satisfaction of their customers. They just want to milk our loyalty and money via dragon releases and events. I and everybody else ought to quit buying money and code cards to support them. Once I see them step their game up and just get rid of bad players faster (even though they can come back as fast as a skrill on a lightning bolt) I might buy a few more cards...
Don't lecture me on the issue that they may be poorly funded, the developers and admins should be at least competant enough to keep up with deleting hacker accounts. The longer a hacker account remains in-game, the more damage they are capable of.
Gutted that HTTYD 3 has been pushed back a year!
ReplyDeleteit got pushed again hopefully for the last time hopefully the third film ends the franchise on a highnote and please don't do a 4th we all know how shrek turned out
ReplyDeleteNope, all CGI again.
ReplyDeleteThis site hasn't been updated? The Httyd3 countdown needs to be changed, a little, again... Sorry, I had to say it.
ReplyDeleteActually, the third Shrek was worse. The climax of the fourth was good per se, though the opening was lazy until Shrek finds his (non-existent) home invaded by witches.
ReplyDeleteHTTYD 3 postponed for the second time, and to 2018 !!!!
ReplyDeleteMy reaction :
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!
Darn. When they did a list of most intense moments, There's no reason why their more dramatic 2D (mixed) style films shouldn't have made the list. Spirit had at least four contending scenes for such a category, and the entire first seven minutes of The Prince of Egypt is more dramatically intense than... the majority of their list.
ReplyDeleteBut thinner, with more bone! Lots more bone.
ReplyDeleteThree movies a year, crisis from ambition. Hope Pixar takes this into account because they also have two films this year. And, well, it's a shame we have to wait just as long for the next film as we did for the last. SIGH...
ReplyDeleteWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTT!!?? NOOOOOOOOOO :((
ReplyDeleteeh i guess what dissapoints me is they dont even thank the fans...and if it wasnt for us fans..they would not be successful...
ReplyDeleteBut let's make the best of it
ReplyDeletewhere did you guys get this news?
ReplyDeleteAt least, they thanks us in the past via their website for our continuous support in HTTYD. He might be forgetful due to being happy (^_^;)
ReplyDeleteRelax.
Yep and here's an official link to that update.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.rotoscopers.com/2015/01/23/how-to-train-your-dragon-3-delayed-again-as-dreamworks-struggles/
Lets add ANOTHER FLIPPING 365 DAYS onto the countdown. I have a feeling that by that time, most of the younger fans would already be graduating. ¬_¬
ReplyDeleteI graduate 12th this year.
ReplyDeleteRE-DELAYED! (animal growls)
ReplyDeleteAnyone with disgruntlement turning them into a growling dragon, say I.
Most of the fans here are around your age, which I think is around 17-18?
ReplyDeleteThe younger fans hang out on Youtube, dissing everything that disses HTTYD, says something bad about HTTYD, or just reviews of HTTYD. Their around 8-12 year olds, so yeah.
8D Anesome! Dragons deserve it, tho ^.^
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a rumor since I saw it on Tumblr, but it looks like it's real.
ReplyDeleteYep. Though they have a startling amount of time on their hands if they're making music videos on top of that.
ReplyDeleteCheck this site for the info about the delaying :
ReplyDeletehttp://screenrant.com/how-train-dragon-3-trolls-release-date-2016-2018/
Sadly, that's because they had to cut 500 people's job, after taking the decision to make less movies per year...
:( That's sad.
ReplyDeleteMore specifically, the PDI division. Wait, was there another DreamWorks animation division?
ReplyDeleteRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteYou forget, they are a small company. This shouldn't even be happening to this game. This is a child education game with a little something for everyone, and yet it is being hacked like crazy as if it were the worlds biggest game ever. I wouldn't call the dev team ignorant, they are more inexperienced in this sort of thing..

ReplyDeleteI was wondering if I could ask you to ask QuickTrick on YouTube to make a remake of 'Is Hiccup Gay or European'?
I was hoping that he/she (I don't know their gender) would now use older Hiccup for the video. Some of the descriptions in the song suit him after all. (I love the video and the song, but wouldn't older Hiccup fit the description perfectly?)
So, if it's not too much trouble, could you do this? I would ask QuickTrick myself, but I don't have a YouTube channel...
So, please?
