We've all been wondering about what the Dragon Eye is! In this exclusive clip, Hiccup and Toothless stumble upon the mysterious object for the first time, only to be chased away. Any ideas about what the Dragon Eye is, or why Dagur has it?

    And I love how Toothless just blasts the mysterious door down without question!
    It looks like they (Hiccup and Toothless) have already found out that Dagur is stirring up trouble again. So I'm guessing this clip isn't from one of the first 3-4 episodes. Usually the villains in this series don't show up until the 5th episode. In the meantime I think the gang was searching for a base to set up camp while they would be away from Berk.
    Speaking of episodes, I wonder which one Heather will show up in? ;D

    I'm so excited for this season. This season looks more intense, suspenseful, action packed, funny, serious, and dramatic. I can't wait to see the rest of this episode. I'm exploding from waiting. 28 days!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

    Paying attention to the wrong thing here I know, but man the lighting in that scene was really good. The way the shadows moved and how the light bounced off things just caught my eye. Also the particles after the plasma blast hit the door looked better (at least to me) as well. Can't wait to see a bigger blast and how that will look.

    I believe I heard Art Slogan say in an interview that Hiccup finds the Dragon Eye "in the beginning". I guess it means Hiccup found the artifact in the first episode. Besides, this series will be all about the artifact and maybe Hiccup just heard that Dagur escaped from prison probably from Alvin? They did say that we'll see a little bit of him in the series

    This is obviously from the first episode that is suppose to have a part 2. I wonder if they encounter the Death Song in this two parter or later on. Anyway can't wait.


    Really hoping for some good Hiccstrid but also afraid to have too many expectations. I love their relationship in HTTYD2 so much and want something in that nature instead of what we got on ROB/DOB. But again, this is not written by Dean so there will be major differences in how they characters behave.

    I think it was an Outcast ship. Dagur would've most likely already had it if it was a Berserker ship. Plus if you noticed by the skull it looked a lot like an outfit Alvin wore, didn't it? Check out nineteen seconds into the clip to see what I mean.

    I wonder if Oswald the Agreeable (Dagur's father) was locked in that room and cast out to sea to be shipwrecked. And the Dragon Eye was a device they, being wide travelers who constantly switch between clever and insane without warning, used it as the pinnacle of their secret knowledge. It maps the unknown and many new dragons, given the trailer. And seeing how Dagur happened to own it, we can only assume what twisted means he intended to use it for once he took over Berk. Otherwise, he gave the order to his men to send a boat trap system to lure the islanders, and Dragon Eye's the bait. An exquisite, valuable bait that he just tossed in for terror to ensue as Oswald spends his last days holding it on the barometric switch (which, if the pressure bestowed over it changes, will shut off all the traps).

    During Alvin and Dagur's alliance-ship, they might have traded- then stolen!- each other's ships. Daggur did take over all of Alvin's good boats before the season 2 finale.

    I'm so pumped for this. Getting Netflix was so worth it and I look forward to see the adventures the gang will endure in these two new seasons.

    The animation has definitely improved since the last two seasons. I can't complain about Hiccup's red tunic because he kind of looks adorable and it's a nice change from the royal green colour. I'm so excited! Only 27 days left!

    In rise of berk it mentioned a "ship graveyard" I wonder if maybe that is where the abandoned ship they're in is. And as for the alvin armor, I dont think it was actually alvin. It wouldn't make much sense to design and render a whole new set of armor just for that one clip.

    - Apparently in the clip above, they are in a ship graveyard (or something XD).
    - A new place will be found called 'Dragon's End' (IDEK)
    - Mildew will befriend a dragon (unlikely, but y'know...)

    I think the first two are reasonable enough to believe.
    1. A ship graveyard can easily have dead people (skeletons) on board. ;) Or perhaps the ship was placed there with the Dragon Eye inside intentionally, so hopefully nobody would find it (but alas, it this not be so!).
    2. I'm thinking "Dragon's End" could be the base the gang uses between their travels, as we've seen in the teaser. Hence "Race to the Edge".
    I don't believe in the last one though. Because Hiccup and the other teens are set to be away from Berk for most of the season, and I don't believe Mildew would be traveling along, since he's so old by now, if not then dead due to old age or other natural causes. Vikings seldom lived to be as old as him back in the day.
    Any time we get on Berk will probably involve Stoick and Gobber getting their dragons. That's my prediction.

    Everyone seems to love THIS clip for some reason. I think its the instance where the show got better with their relationship than the movie 1. We just hope there's more next season, and with more intimacy aside from the episode plot.

    There was a previous script where the first film had more mythology, so the soothsayer Gothi had a larger role. I still love it when she does appear. I used to think she was Stoic's grandmother, who's home towers above all, including the chief.

    Yeah- she's a really interesting character. Haha! She should be Stoick's Grandmother! It would be awesome! Like in the book I think it's Valka's Grandfather or something who's a kind of Soothsayer. Like the wise old man:) And in the movie's it's the wise old woman:)
