In the first season of Race to the Edge, we get a chance to see what the dragon riders have built for themselves on the Dragon's Edge. However, it looks like there's a lot more coming. Check out some of these close-up images of houses and buildings that we will likely get to see more of in the second season!
The first building (above) is the Dragon's Edge clubhouse. Below is Snotlout's house with its crank, allowing Snotlout to keep his house higher than any other rider's, and the twins' house requires balloons to stay upright. Read more about the buildings of Dragon's Edge!
It's so nice to get clear pictures of these, thanks Icelandiceel!
ReplyDeleteWow, the designers really went to town on the house designs! I love the dual Zippleback heads on the twins' house.
ReplyDeleteI know, aren't they awesome! And I love that Snotlout has to store water next to his house just in case Hookfang catches it on fire.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what that was!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I hope it's true that we will see more in the second season!
ReplyDelete(And I wish we could somehow get the image in the original resolution ^^)
No Hiccup, Astrid and Fishlegs' house design yet? :3
ReplyDeleteLooks good.
ReplyDeleteso where is the bore pit :3 :D
ReplyDeleteHow about Astrid's hut? I wanna see how her fortress is doing
ReplyDeleteLoving the Hiccup T pose in the Snotlout's hut photo. :P
ReplyDeleteLoving the designs though, really interesting to see the contrast between them. Like the twins haphazard paint job and design in general. Compared to Snotlouts more ordered design on his. Will be interesting to see them all and compare them.
I love the twin's house the most.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with TV shows, and stopping at episode 13?
ReplyDeleteNot only with this show, MLP too!
Why do they do this to us?!
Maybe it's something towards Friday 13th.
ReplyDeleteMaybe...
ReplyDeleteI love the itty bitty Hiccup figurine that's standing next to Snotlout's house for size reference. >.<
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing that out! I hadn't spotted it until you did.
ReplyDeleteIt's so detailed :) It even has the prosthetic and the shoulder pads from his flight suit!
ReplyDeletesame here!
ReplyDeleteThe Chicken Is Not Amused......*BAWK*
ReplyDeleteThese are really, really cool! I can see there was a lot of thought put into these! But, can someone please tell me when more episodes are coming out and how many episodes there are going to be in a season and how many seasons there are going to be? I've been digging forever and I haven't found a thing!
ReplyDelete26 episodes a season. 13 are released every six months. 2 more seasons, this one (Season 3) and then one more after that. (Season 4) They are building the story up so that the end of the fourth season will probably be right before the beginning or the events of Httyd 2. Right now, we're in Season 3, (Dragons Race to the Edge) which takes place 1/1.5 years before Httyd 2 and Hiccup, Astrid, and Snotlout are 19 and Fishlegs and the twins are 18. Hope this helped =)
ReplyDeleteThey should really do a tour of the Dragon's Edge. While I feel like we will get more scenes of the Edge, It would be nice to have a tour of it just like their is a tour of the upgrades of Berk as the special features of HTTYD 2. :D
ReplyDeleteThey look AWESOME when you see them up close!:D I hope we can get a closer look at Astrid, Hiccup and Fishlegs' soon. It would be really cool if we could get a closer look inside them as well;)
ReplyDeleteIn 6 months there are going to be (i think) 13 more episodes, then repeat, until the 3rd movie will come out. (in 2018)
ReplyDeletethank you so much for this!!! I was looking everywhere for this and i couldnt find a thing!!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! i love to help! :)
ReplyDeleteI found out the exact number of seasons that are going to air: (source from Wikipedia)
In addition to the first two seasons, multiple new seasons were announced to be released on Netflix. while Jay Baruchel confirmed in a 2014 interview on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson that he would reprise his role for two additional seasons.
So, how do I download School of Dragons?
ReplyDeleteIt isn't really clear how to do so
I reccomend Using FireFox, or another browser, because Chrome stopped supporting the unity 3d player. open school of dragons on one of the browsers, then register, then click play. it should download your game from there :)
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious omg. My favorite one of these images is the zippleback one. I cant wait for these to be shown in the episodes!
ReplyDeleteFirst, download Unity web player. And create an account. Other than that, I'm not sure how to navigate it enough where I could find presence in it (i.e. Where are the clubs and level one, exactly? How do I begin?) So that's all I can say.
ReplyDeleteThis is what my sister drew on the back of her sandwich bag. If you can't read what it says, it says (How to train your dragon (to eat a sandwich)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but that was horrifying at first glance.
ReplyDeleteNo. Here, this is what it said:
ReplyDelete"School of Dragons is now available for download as an ALL-NEW way for you to continue your dragon training adventure! What does this mean? Now you can close out of your browser and continue training and embarking on quests without launching the game from your browser. And, even more importantly, for those Vikings playing the game using Google Chrome, you will be now be able to continue paying without switching to an alternate browser or adjusting your settings!
"With the downloadable option not only can you play using any browser but the game will load faster, crash less, graphics will appear clearer, and users will ultimately be able to play a more optimized version of the game. Make sure to check it out and discover all the awesome improvements for yourself!"
Toothless is so cute!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm on Internet Explorer, but it opens on a separate Unity window.
ReplyDeleteIf it were on a browser, I'd get buffering and buffering at every door.
It's fine. :)
ReplyDeleteNow looking at picture it kinda does.
ReplyDelete"It must be a tribal crest or something" -Hiccup
ReplyDeleteHint to the new tribe in Rtte possibly?
more like king kong meets snotlout
ReplyDeleteIn a leafy green suit!
ReplyDeleteYea, i noticed that too. as of now, at seems to be just there for decoration. altough i would be really disappointed if they won't use it at least one time until the end of the series. and i totally agree with you on the prosthetic tail. i think a black one (Against the so bright stick - out red) would have been much more suitable and natural for Toothless. that being said, i don't in any way, hate the red tail. i think it looks amazing. but a black one seems more natural, and it can have a painting or something on it, so it won't be completly black, and still, not so distracting as the red one.
ReplyDeleteGood point. I too hope we see some more tail action in the next set of episodes, and I agree that a black one would make sense, along with a black saddle.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! i thought of maybe neon blue for the pianting, but i guess it will stand out in the darkness, so...
ReplyDeleteHow cool it will be if we could actually give the creators some ideas? :)
This is not related to dragons, but my GOD! you HAVE TO SEE THIS!
ReplyDeleteWatch ONLY on Chrome browser, as any other browser does not support the 369 degrees view. to move the camera, use the W,A,S,D keys to move, as if they were the arrow keys.

I reccomend listening to this while you view it:

That would be awesome if we gave the creators some ideas!
ReplyDeleteI want to see Astrid's hut!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFiona as in Shrek? Definitely Fiona. Karate against Clumsy Viking....
ReplyDeleteThat...Was...AWESOME!! I watched the video like 3 times! I even showed mum. I am flailing my arms like the 13 year old Asperger girl i am! Please post more stuff like this on here!
ReplyDelete"Snotlout! Snotlout! Oy, oy oy! Snotlout! Snotlout! Oy, oy, --"
ReplyDelete(Fiona swings in and kicks Snotlout over a weapon wheelburrow)
"Hiya! Man, was that annoying."
I know right?! i did the same thing!!! apparently, this is an advertisement to A planned live action Warcraft movie in 2016. so unreal!
ReplyDeleteSure, i can. do you like the 360 degrees videos? i have a bunch of more i know of :)
Good eye! the producers said that a dragon - friendly tribe will likely to appear, so you are corret! :)
