


How to Train Your Dragon 2 has official been canceled, according to a tweet by DreamWorks Animation. Although production has completed for Dragon 2, the latest chapter in the beloved Dragons franchise, DreamWorks has stated in a press release that it no longer plans to release the film to the public.

While this is the first official confirmation Dragon 2's cancelation, this reptile film has been on thin ice for a long time. Vague hints of cancelation swirled around the internet for weeks, notably this tweet three days ago by Dragon director Dean DeBlois saying that How to Train Your Dragon 2 is canceled:
